The Bar

Our bar is the heart of The Cri, and is the perfect setting for general mixing and mingling with your event. Whether you’re hosting a cocktail party or a more casual get-together with mates, our expert bartenders will be ready to impress at all times.

The Courtyard

Our courtyard is located right under George Street, and its with lush greenery, fresh air, and cosy outdoor seating, it’s the ideal space for relaxed gatherings and al freso dining away from the hustle and bustle.

A spacious, modern outdoor dining area with high wooden tables and matching stools. Overhead, hanging plants and string lights create a cozy ambiance. The area is partially covered with a glass roof, allowing natural light to illuminate the space. Indoor seating is visible.

The Lounge

With comfortable couches, a pool table, dart board, and other amenities, our lounge room is the perfect place to unwind and socialise. The Cri lounge can be booked exclusively for your functions or events if you’re looking for a more private space for you and your guests.

Let's Have A Party

  • Can I supply my own cake/dessert?

    Yes, you can bring your own cake or dessert for your event, and we provide serving platters and cutlery at no additional cost. Please inform our staff in advance to make sure we have everything ready to have the proper provisions for your party.

  • Can I hire the entire venue?

    While we cannot exclusively hire out the entire venue, we can offer exclusive use of our lounge room, which can accommodate up to 80 guests and can provide a more intimate setting for your event.

  • Is the venue family-friendly?

    Yes, we are a family-friendly tavern, offering high-chairs and a range of child-friendly menu options to cater to guests of all ages.

  • Do you have AV facilities?

    Yes, we provide basic AV equipment, including a TV with HDMI set-up and a microphone at no additional charge. For more complex audio-visual needs, we recommend hiring external equipment and letting our staff know about your plans in advance to ensure we can accommodate your plans.

  • Are you wheelchair accessible?

    Yes, we are fully accessible to wheelchair users. We have a lift to access our first floor and a disabled bathroom.
